The Desjardins Group Pension Plan (DGPP or Plan) annual meeting was held on March 24. During the meeting, the Desjardins Group Retirement Committee (DGRC) reported on the Plan administration and financial position, which improved again in 2021.
Nearly 950 people attended the live webcast. During the meeting, participants had a chance to ask questions and submit comments. The Plan administrators answered the most frequently asked questions. Once again, members enjoyed the dynamism of this year's presentation, the information's vulgarization, and the clarity of the presenters' explanations.
Moreover, the results of the recent DGRC election were presented during the meeting. It was announced that Jacques Dignard was re-elected to the position of member designated by retirees, beneficiaries and members entitled to a deferred pension. It was also announced that Brigitte Chabarekh was re-elected to the position of non-voting member designated by active members.
